Foley Pinot Noir Pommard Clone Rancho Santa Rosa 2006

Deep, mature strawberry, cherry, dark berries and rhubarb integrated with cardamom, bay, cedar, tobacco and a hint of mint. Dusty, ripe fruit seamlessly interwoven with savory, earthy wood-and-soil notes. Medium bodied, velvety smooth on the palate with a long finish. A complex and balanced wine, yet very approachable. Makes you feel at ease — like meeting some one for the first time and feeling like you’ve known them all your life. An excellent wine. (Reviewed 6/15/12)
