Beckmen Grenache Purisima Mountain Vineyard 2007

Rounded but slightly bright fruit of red- and blackberry with earthy back-notes. Hints of cardamom, cedar and redwood poke through. Fruit overshadows soil here, and one can imagine the benefits of additional age bringing balancing here. An intriguing adolescent not yet aware of subtly’s power. Nevertheless, a very good wine.
