Lynmar Pinot Noir Russian River Valley 2006

Austere with distinctive Sonoma County cherry and strawberry fruit integrated with rhubarb, subtle woody spices and organic soil notes. Full of freshness, with a hint of barnyard; silky mouth feel and a little tannin “chew.” The first sign of Spring in a glass — it’s clear skies and a little warmth, slightly longer days and new growth in the garden. A very good wine. (Reviewed 9/19/10)
