Kosta Browne Pinot Noir Russian River Valley 2008

Red fruit and caramel on the nose hints at the burst of ripe red cherry, raspberry and strawberry in the mouth with complex notes of molasses, nutmeg, cardamom and coffee. Medium bodied with a silky-velvety texture, balanced tannins and tame acidity. A multi-layered, wide-spectrum flavor experience. A just-met acquaintance who leads you on a discovery of hidden charms to the city you believed you knew so well. An excellent wine. (Reviewed 2/12/11)
