Adelaida ‘Version’ 2008

Cherries and berries with plum, acacia and a firm tobacco, black tea and dried mushroom backbone. Full bodied with integrated fruit and soil flavors, a playful wildness and a slight perk of acidity. A charming and engaging personality no matter the audience or situation — as comfortable in a tux as jeans, with either as casual as pajamas. 48% Mourvedre, 30% Syrah, 13% Grenache and 9% Counoise. A very good wine. (Reviewed 2/19/12)
