Domaine de Terrebrune Bandol 2006

Ripe dark berry, plum and black cherry fruit fused with notes of cedar, organic soil, dried mushroom, eucalyptus and stone minerals. Medium bodied, fruit forward, well-balanced and moderate 13.5% alcohol (wonderfully French). A perk of natural acidity on the finish matches a robust meal well. A real charmer; on first meeting, it’s as if you’ve been friends for years. Mourvedre, Grenache and Cinsault. A very good wine. (Reviewed 4/9/11)
