Siduri Pinot Noir 2008

SANTA LUCIA HIGHLANDS | CALIFORNIA | $30

A light garnet color belies the full flavors to come. Cooked black cherry with bright blackberry and complex notes of cola, earth, cedar and stone with a hint of grapefruit. Silky mouth feel and a lingering finish. Smooth, graceful and lithe — it’s Fred and Ginger, certainly not Fred and Ethyl. A beautiful wine, very good near excellent.
