Rusack Syrah 2008

Ripe red plum, blackberry and cherry with rhubarb and kiwi. Hints of cocoa, graphite, oak and smoke appear through fleshy, forward fruit. Full bodied with a satin texture, nice acidity and tame tannins. Voluptuous, it is; racey and ready to run with the A-list. A very good wine, near excellent. (Reviewed 2/6/12)
