Stolpman Grenache Estate 2007

Additional bottle time has done wonders to balance this wine. Cooked blackberry, boysenberry and cherry fruit with nutmeg, allspice, cardamom, licorice, tar and pine. Full bodied and jammy. Silky texture and mouth-drying tannins with some alcohol apparent, but the balance has improved greatly, and flaws overcome, with age. A very good wine. (Reviewed 9/5/11)
