Domain Paul Autard Cotes du Rhone 2010

COTES DU RHONE | FRANCE | $16

Fresh flavors of boysenberry and red cherry integrated with allspice, mustard seed and chalk. Medium bodied, not lean, and fruit forward with bright fresh-fruit acidity — an easily drinkable rapprochement of the old-world style and new-world palate. Within this grand dame beats the heart of an urban bohemian. Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre and Cinsault. A good wine and nice value. (Reviewed 2/4/12)
