Beringer Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

Aromas of violets lead to blackberry and plum fruit with strains of prune, cola, graphite and a hint of smoke. Medium bodied with balance and structure. Easily accessible and pleasantly entertaining overall. This performer’s range has limits — mostly in the tenor range — and she’s not aria-capable, strictly country-pop. Nothing wrong with that. A good wine. (Reviewed 2/2/12)
