Tensley Syrah Thompson Vineyard 2007

Concentrated, jammy blueberry up front with touches of dark wild berry, purple plum and fig. Subtle notes of graphite, cedar, tea and soil add complexity and restrain this fruit bomb’s detonation. Full bodied, nicely balanced and well structured. This is a big bowl of fruit, but not overflowing. A very good, near excellent wine. (Reviewed 1/29/12)
