PASO ROBLES | CALIFORNIA | $22
Medium bodied and somewhat fruit forward with prominent flavors of boysenberry and currant, plus faint woody herbs, cookie spices, bay and oak. Viscous mouth feel, a moderate tannic structure and a pleasant finish. Not a bad citizen at all, but this candidate doesn’t stand out from the crowd, neither by bombast nor stardom. 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 5% Syrah, 2% Petite Sirah. A good wine.
