Jim Clendenen ‘Skin and Bones’ Riesling 2006

Green apple, apricot, honeydew and lemongrass. Bright, crisp acidity, slight vanilla oak and wet stone minerality. Wonderfully tart and refreshing but little depth. A good-time acquaintance with a pleasant laugh but a card or so from a full deck. A good wine. (Reviewed 10/1/11)
