Pipestone Grenache ‘Estate’ 2007

Paso Robles Ripe plum, cherry and red berry fruit against a background of Asian spice and redwood. Medium bodied, displaying calcium-rich minerality and a satisfying rough-hewn texture. A little rusticity evidences a passionate hand crafting. One can almost taste the horse-drawn plowed vineyards…almost. An excellent wine. (Reviewed 12/14/10)
