PASO ROBLES | CALIFORNIA | $23
Full bodied with ripe, forward raspberry and blackberry fruit and bold organic earthiness, cedar and spice, and chalky calcium minerality. Not the usual Nadeau fruit bomb, instead rather restrained (if a Petite Sirah can be restrained), lacking the wild-game overtones often found in Petite Sirahs. A very good wine. (Reviewed 12/26/10)
