Saxum James Berry Vineyard 2006

PASO ROBLES | CALIFORNIA

A very ripe wine (16.6% alcohol), full bodied with complex fruit of plum, dark berries and cherry. Big, forward fruit dominates more subtle earthy characteristics. Notable acidity on the finish. Could use more bottle time to soften the fruit, ease the acidity and achieve better balance. A very good wine except when one considers its price. (Reviewed 9/4/10)
