Pipestone ‘Vine Rouge Mediterranean’ 2005

PASO ROBLES | CALIFORNIA

Amazing. Superbly complex fruit, chalky minerality, organic soil and soft tannins. Well balanced. Easy boysenberry and plum up front trailing to wood and spice finishing on dark mushrooms, light balsamic and black tea. 34% Syrah, 33% Grenache, 33% Zinfandel. A very good wine. (Reviewed 9/4/10)
