Marquis-Phillips Cabernet Sauvignon S2 2004

McLAREN VALE | AUSTRALIA

A super Cabernet. Big, forward red plum and dark berry fruit, iron minerality velvety texture and lingering finish. Iron minerality. Bottle age has done this wine well. A very good wine, near excellent. The Aussie Marquis half of the brand now makes the exceptional Mollydooker wines (all are recommended), and the American Phillips, who now owns the Marquis-Phillips brand and many others, has not since created similar quality wines.
