Wood and spice notes, a sweet chalky calcium minerality typical of Paso Robles Zinfandels, and well-balanced fresh-fruit acidity. Velvety texture and a long finish. Forward, thoughtful, and entertaining — really no problem at all. 71% Zinfandel, 17% Syrah, 12% Mourvedre. An excellent wine. (Reviewed 10/16/10)
