Foley Pinot Noir Rancho Santa Rosa ‘Barrel Select’ 2006

Soft boysenberry fruit, plus hints of peach, cherry and plum, integrated with cedar, spice and cola. Supple decomposed dry wood texture and a natural fruit acidity. Medium bodied and restrained. Mature, balanced and wise — the guest with sublime repartee, so politely one upping all. A very good wine. (Reviewed 9/25/11)
